2011 Walt Pinot Noir Gap's Crown Vineyard

Bright violet color. Dark berry preserves, lavender and Asian spices on the exotically perfumed nose and in the mouth. Sweet, penetrating and energetic, with smoke and bitter chocolate qualities emerging with air. Closes on a medicinal note of bitter cherry, with silky tannins adding shape and grip to the persistent finish.
