Punteggio 90-92/100 · Da bere 2015-2025, Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate, Dec 2011

The 2010 Latricieres-Chambertin comes across as a touch fleeting in this vintage. Dried cherries, crushed flowers and sweet wild herbs are some of the notes that emerge from the glass. The 2010 comes across as a bit frail and even forward. It will be interesting to see where this goes over the coming year. Hints of mint, licorice and tobacco add complexity on the finish. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2025. I was thrilled with the wines I tasted with David Duband. The 2010s are fabulous. They show the weight, energy and transparency of the vintage. Of the 2010s, only the Morey St. Denis Clos Sorbe was too reduced to read. I also tasted a number of the 2009 grand crus, all of which have captured the potential I sensed when I tasted them from barrel. I will report on those wines in the April issue. As a reminder, many of Duband's vineyards are farmed in metayage with Francois Feuillet. Readers may find those wines under either the Domaine David Duband or Domaine Francois Feuillet labels.
