2006 Domaine Michel Magnien Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru

(from Mazoyeres) Good medium red. Redcurrant, dried flowers and iron on the nose. Lush, sweet and deep, showing a lovely light touch considering its ripeness and plush texture. This is downright silky for the vintage, not to mention complex. Finishes with round tannins, excellent persistence and a lingering perfume of faded flowers.
