2020 Sorì della Sorba Solo per Amore

The 2020 Langhe Rosso Solo Per Amore is another serious wine from Sorì della Sorba, despite its rather silly name. A blend of 60% Dolcetto and 40% Nebbiolo, the Rosso conveys depth, intensity and notable personality. Sumptuous dark red fruit, licorice, pomegranate, red flowers and orange peel fill out the layers. There's terrific depth and just the right amount of grip in the tannins to wrap it all together. Here, too, the 80% stems are not especially perceptible.
