Chiarello's 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Eileen is also quite ripe and racy, but here the fruit has more freshness, minerality and verve. Super-ripe black currants, cassis, menthol and violets are layered into the sexy, inviting finish. The ripeness of the year comes through, but the Eileen is better balanced than the Bambino.

The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Eileen is a racy, layered wine bursting with dark red berries, flowers, licorice and new leather. It shows better balance and a bit more restraint (in relative terms) than the Bambino.
