2022 Big Table Farm Pinot Noir Cattrall Brothers Vineyard

The 2022 Pinot Noir Cattrall Brothers Vineyard keeps the taster at the edge of the glass. A beguiling blend of crushed rocks, spiced orange rinds, incense, rosemary and dried strawberries effortlessly wafts up from the glass. This is round and darkly perfumed within. Tart wild berry fruits cascade across a saline mineral core as a savory herbal tinge forms toward the close. Sour citrus combines with a subtle tannic tinge as this finishes long and staining, yet not severe. Licorice notes slowly fade. The 2022 sports an Old World feel that I find wildly attractive. Due to frost, Big Table Farm only produced half the normal amount of Cattrall Brothers Pinot Noir, at just 64 cases. Don’t miss it.
