Note di degustazione
Pale garnet, the 2009 Pinot Noir Coastlands Vineyard offers intriguing, fully mature scents of smoke and sea salt, old leather, mint leaves and mushroom powder. Light-bodied, it has an unusual, salty, floral character in the mouth, and it finishes delicately. Time to drink up.

Juicy dark cherries, flowers, hard candy and sweet spices all meld together in the 2009 Pinot Noir Coastlands Vineyard. The 2009 shows considerable weight, richness and inner sweetness from the high percentage of shattered grapes for the year. Sweet floral notes reappear on the candied, exotic finish. This is decidedly overt style for Cobb, but the wine's overall balance is utterly impeccable.
Ruby-red. Explosively perfumed bouquet evokes candied red fruits, allspice, star anise and potpourri, with a bright mineral quality building with air. Lively and focused on the palate, offering sappy raspberry and cherry flavors and a silky, seamless texture. The floral quality comes on strong on the delineated, very persistent finish.
