Sappy, appealingly sweet and lively in the mouth, offering concentrated black raspberry, cherry, spicecake, vanilla and rose pastille flavors that stretch out with aeration. Shows surprising vivacity for its depth of fruit. The cherry and floral notes return on a strikingly long, spice-accented finish framed by velvety, well-knit tannins.
