The 2010 Pinot Noir Camp Meeting Ridge wraps around the palate with tons of finesse and elegance. A wine of considerable aromatic lift and spices, the 2010 seems to float on the palate with endless layers of silky, wonderfully nuanced fruit. Nothing is out of place. The 2010 impresses for its overall sense of harmony and total finesse.

The wines I have tasted since then have been interesting and distinctive. Tel. (707) 847-3661
Transparent ruby. Broad, burgundian breadth to the nose. Côte de Beauney. Great complexity and something very broad across the palate. Already delicious! JJ says this is down to his very close attention to tannin management. Admits that his early Rhys wines were pretty tannic. Something malty on the nose. Lovely delicacy. Very fine tannins. Very vivacious. (JR)
