2010 Staglin Family Sangiovese Stagliano Estate

The 2010 Stagliano is even better than the 2009. Dark cherry, plum, menthol, violets and new leather all burst from the glass. A dark, intriguing wine, the 2010 is bursting with flavor intensity. At the same time, there is plenty of minerality and 2010 vintage vibrancy in the glass. The 2010 has a very bright future. I hope to be able to taste it with a little more bottle age.
