Note di degustazione
The last vintage of this wine under the Di Costanzo label, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Farella Vineyard is a super effort, with waves of black cherries and cassis carried by a wine that seems more concentrated and more richly textured than the 2018. Still medium to full-bodied, it's a tannic but ripe wine that should drink well for a couple of decades once the tannins smooth out a bit.

Perfumed nose of ripe cherries, fresh plums, orange zest, nutmeg, lavender and bay leaves. It’s medium-bodied with firm, tightly knit tannins. Textured. Firm, yet very fine and focused. Long, seamless finish.
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Farella Vineyard is sensational, and also the greatest wine I have tasted from Massimo and Erin Di Costanzo. All the elements are so well balanced. Black cherry, plum, tobacco, dried herbs and leather literally explode from the glass. Readers who can find the 2019 should not hesitate, as it is a major-league wine. (AG)
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Farella Vineyard is bright, punchy and full of character. Sweet red berry fruit, rose petal, mint, cedar, licorice and star anise all come alive in a vibrant, racy Cabernet Sauvignon that captures the essence of Coombsville. In 2019, the Farella Cabernet is especially aromatic and red-toned in its fruit profile.
