Note di degustazione
The 2011 Rose (Sans Soufre) reveals slightly more lifted aromas of pressed roses, wild raspberry, star-berry, and blood orange. The palate is energetic with a pinpoint mousse and an even spice of fresh acidity, as well as a well-structured core with a savory flourish. A fantastic and expressive wine, it’s in a wonderful spot for drinking now or over the next 5-6 years.

The 2011 Rosé Heintz Vineyard Late Disgorged was made using saignee and spent seven years en tirage before its late disgorgement in April of 2019. Medium to deep cherry-pink in color, it's bursting with singular, complex aromas of candied peaches, candy cap mushroom, fresh bread, crème brûlée and pencil shavings. The medium-bodied palate is lightly creamy, and its freshness is softened yet pleasurable. It offers bold, surprisingly youthful peachy fruit that gives a gentle perception of sweetness, and it boasts a long, flavorful finish.
