Clarity of vision, wonderful execution. Racing acidity with just a hint of roundness. Notes of lime oil, lemongrass, light musk and sea fresh saline. Refreshing, intriguing, unusual. Lovely. (ECB)

The 2011 Viognier Estate is all about layers and texture. The flavors are bright, focused and floral, more towards the citrus end of the flavor spectrum rather than the tropical. An understated, polished finish rounds things out nicely. I am not sure Viognier is the very best variety for this coastal site, but the wine is beautiful just the same.
