The 2019 Pinot Noir The Return offers a beguiling mix of savory and earthy nuances. A Pinot of structure and drive, the Return is not especially forthcoming today, but rather looks like it is holding quite a bit in reserve. Wild cherry, plum, spice, tobacco, menthol and licorice start to open with time in the glass. Readers should expect a bold, savory style. I imagine the 2019 will be stellar in another few years' time.
