Checking in as 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Syrah, 11% Malbec, and 3% Cabernet Franc, the 2018 Red Blend Black Label offers a slightly closed, earthy style that reveals medium to full-bodied notes of black and blue fruits, damp earth, chocolate, truffle, and leafy herbs. It's rich and has plenty of tannins, nicely integrated acidity, and outstanding length. It's going to benefit from 2-4 years in the cellar and drink well for a decade or more.

The 2018 Red Blend Black Label is composed of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Syrah, 11% Malbec and 3% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple colored, it springs from the glass with notes of blackcurrant cordial, baked plums and boysenberries plus hints of dried Provence herbs, unsmoked cigars, smoked meats and tapenade. Full-bodied, the palate delivers lovely freshness to lift all that dark, rich, seductive fruit, framed by plush tannins and finishing on a persistent peppery note.
