Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Merlot opens with cedar and baked plums-inspired notes with suggestions of dried black cherries, mulberries and dried sage. Medium to full-bodied, it has a chewy texture and plenty of earth-laced black fruit preserves in the mouth with a firm finish.
