Mondavi's Pinot Noirs are all well-made, with the Reserve the finest. The 1996 Pinot Noir Napa Reserve displays a dark plum color, and moderately intense, herbaceous, animal, black plum, and cherry aromas. Restrained but rich, with crisp acidity, and clean winemaking, this medium-bodied, tightly-knit Pinot Noir will benefit from another 1-2 years of bottle age, and last for 4-8 years. Tel.
