Medium garnet colored, the 2007 Zinfandel Jackass Hill possesses an incredibly complex nose of baked cherries, dried blueberries and mulberries with loads of earth, spice and incense nuances—soil, moss, sandalwood, crushed rocks and Indian spices—with cardamom, preserved citrus peel and rose hip accents. Full-bodied and full throttle in the mouth, it delivers tons of earth and spice layers with a solid frame of chewy tannins and wonderful freshness, finishing with epic length.
