2013 Merry Edwards Pinot Noir Flax Vineyard

The 2013 Pinot Noir Flax Vineyard offers good up-front appeal, but then loses some of its persistence through the mid-palate. Crushed flowers, earthiness, spices and sweet red plum notes open up in the glass, but the 2013 is slightly lacking in intensity, which attenuates the finish. The 2013 is best enjoyed sooner rather than later.
