All the best elements of the Harris house style come together in the2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Treva's Vineyard. Aromatically high-toned but backed up with great fruit intensity, the Treva's is simply magnificent today in its complete, harmonious expression of both site and vintage. Blue and black-toned fruit, menthol, licorice spices are given an extra kick of brightness by the wine's acidity and tannic structure. The Treva's is by far the most vibrant and delineated of the three Harris 2012 Cabernets. What a gorgeous wine this is.

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Treva’s Vineyard is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and exhibits beautiful créme de cassis, blueberry and blackberry fruit. The tannins are supple, the wine opulent, full-bodied and impressive. This is another terrific 2012 that looks set to please those looking for immediate gratification, as well as those wanting to cellar these wines of enormous potential for 12-15+ years.
Saturated ruby-red. Crushed cassis, blueberry and licorice on the nose. Large-scaled, fat and plush; layered and sweet, with dark berry and bitter chocolate flavors complicated by a suggestion of tobacco. Shows major tannic clout but here the tannins are broad and horizontal and avoid the metallic edge shown by the 2011. Has the structure to support good mid-term aging.
Racy and explosive in the glass, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Treva's Vineyard tames some of the intense minerality of this site with its deep, voluptuous fruit. Smoke, licorice, plums, crushed rocks and leather are some of the many notes that burst from the glass. Everything comes together in a powerful, exotic wine that should also offer a fairly wide window of drinking pleasure.
