Note di degustazione
The 2012 Moulin Riche was not tasted blind. It has an attractive bouquet with vibrant red cherry and raspberry fruit, pressed flowers and a light ferrous touch. The palate is well balanced with fine tannins, quite concentrated for a Moulin Riche considering the vintage, pure and vivacious. This comes recommended. Tasted blind at the Southwold Ten-Year On tasting.

Tasted blind. Certainly rich! And polished. Lots of current pleasure here. But not for the long term. (JR)
Tasted blind at the Southwold Bordeaux tasting. The 2012 Moulin Riche has a stubborn nose at first. The aromatics are tightly knit: cranberry and strawberry, cedar and a touch of cigar box. The palate is medium-bodied with soft tannin, well-judged acidity, a dab of white pepper and a satisfying, easygoing, tobacco finish that tapers away a little too quickly. Otherwise, this is a decent Moulin Riche to drink over the next 6-8 years. Tasted January 2016.
Tasted blind. Dark crimson. Some minerally nose with opulent fruit. Very well done in this context. I would even like to swallow this wine! Juicy with well-managed tannins and no sign of greenness. Glamorous and well judged. Just slightly dry on the end. But pretty well done. Some sweetness here even. (JR)

Ch. Léoville-Poyferré is a Second Growth Saint-Julien property that was once part of the same estate as Ch. Léoville Barton and Ch. Léoville Las Cases. It has the most complex and varied soils of the three and produces the most voluptuous, seductive style of wine.
