2009 Bedrock Heirloom Lorenzo's Vineyard

(60% zinfandel, 20% carignane and the rest from 21 additional varieties): Bright purple. Perfumed and expressive on the nose, with ripe blackberry and candied cherry aromas joined by suggestions of potpourri and licorice. Broad and sweet on the palate, the weighty dark berry and ripe cherry flavors showing a floral note. The fruit expands and deepens on the finish, which features velvety tannins and suave floral notes. This is already approachable.
