Note di degustazione
The 2015 Epoch White was made with about 14% skin contact and is a blend of 46% Grenache Blanc, 40% Viognier and 14% Roussanne. It gains interest from several different fermentation and maturation vessels (concrete, foudre and barrels) and comes across like a Bordeaux Blanc, with bright green herbs, yellow orchard fruits and citrus, along with tones of beeswax and graphite. The palate offers an alluring juxtaposition of zesty acidity and herbal undertones with a rounded, honeyed character, and it finishes long and mineral laced. It's wonderfully youthful and will continue to evolve in bottle over the next 5-8 years. 491 cases were made.

Light yellow-gold. Tangerine, melon and a citrus pith nuance on the fragrant nose. Sappy and tightly wound, offering dried pear and Meyer lemon flavors that flesh out and become more succulent with air. Picks up a hint of tarragon on the finish, which lingers with very good, mineral-tinged persistence.
