2018 Purlieu Le Pich Chardonnay

The 2018 Chardonnay Platt Vineyard is a striking wine from this highly regarded Sonoma Coast site. Bright and beautifully sculpted, with terrific energy, the Platt Chardonnay is impressive. Saline and mineral notes drive through a core of lemon confit, tangerine oil, white flowers and mint, with just a hint of reduction that adds character. This is an especially taut style for Julien Fayard.
