Note di degustazione
The last vintage for this cuvee (the vineyard was replanted) and from higher elevation, red soils in the Russian River Valley, the 2015 Pinot Noir Cohn Vineyard offers a unique profile of caramelized cherries, dried spices, and earth in a riper, rounded, sexy style. It has lots of upfront charm, is nicely balanced and finishes well. Made in a much more savory, dried herb style, drink it over the coming 7-8 years.

The 2015 Pinot Noir Cohn Vineyard is a powerful, intense wine. Big tannins and broad, ample shoulders give the Cohn its distinctive personality. This is an especially virile, structured Pinot that is going to need time to show at its best. Today, it is one of the most brooding and inward of these 2015s from Kosta Browne.
Aromas of oyster shell and flowers. Stone. Dried roses. Full body, velvety tannins and super depth and focus. Chewy texture. Serious tannins yet so delicious. Better in 2019.
