2013 Post Parade Cabernet Sauvignon

Thomas Brown makes the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon from two well-known vineyards, the Tench Vineyard in Oakville, which is located on Oakville Bench (and made famous by Russell Bevan), and the Redhead Vineyard, which is back on Soda Springs Road. There are 425 cases of this beauty, which displays a dense ruby/purple color and notes of lead pencil shavings, blackberry, cassis and a touch of toasty oak in a full-bodied, layered, concentrated style. Drink it over the next 15 or so years.
