Note di degustazione
Tasted blind. Lustrous crimson. Luscious and well composed and balanced and complete on the nose. Sweet and flattering and lightly floral though there is power underneath. Pretty glorious. Fruit almost overwhelms tannin – but tannin dominated eventually. Very well made. Long. Bordeaux? (JR)

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder has notes of freshly crushed red and black currants and mulberries over hints of pencil shavings, red roses and menthol plus a touch of Chinese five spice. Medium to full-bodied with a very firm frame of grainy tannins and plenty of freshness, it fills the palate with red and black fruits, with loads of earthy layers coming through on the long finish.
Unique aromas of wet earth, mushrooms, dark fruits and flowers follow through to a full body, rich and chewy tannins and a powerful finish. This is muscular yet polished showing depth and length. Give it until 2020 to show you what it really has.
