2003 Mount Veeder Napa Valley Reserve

This blend of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot is a small cuvee of just under 2,600 cases. A dark plum/ruby/purple color is accompanied by an attractive bouquet of blueberries, black raspberries, underbrush and forest floor. The wine hits the palate with medium body, but narrows out slightly in the finish. I enjoyed its overall elegance, purity, richness and juicy finish. Drink it now and over the next 7-8 years. Tel.
