Note di degustazione
A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Cabernet Franc, coming from the estate's two block of Perrarus blocks on Pritchard Hill, the 2018 Stones Longitude-Latitude has a deep garnet-purple color, leaping from the glass with notions of red and black currants, black raspberries and black cherry preserves, followed by hints of iron ore, wild sage and pencil shavings, with a waft of black olives. The full-bodied palate is firm and chewy, supporting the generous black fruits and earthy layers, finishing with a lively lift.

The 2018 Stones Longitude-Latitude is 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Cabernet Franc that spent 22 months in new French oak. It has stunning freshness as well as building richness in its red, blue, and black fruits. These give way to more floral and spicy notes with time in the glass, and this full-bodied red has a layered, elegant mouthfeel, fine tannins, and a great, great finish.
A new wine in this range, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Stones Longitude Latitude is a Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc blend from Larry Fairchild's vineyard in Upper Range. Inky red fruit, blood orange, cedar, mint and sweet pipe tobacco give the 2018 striking aromatic. Dense and flamboyant to the core, with silky tannins and fabulous balance. It is another wine that will thrill Fairchild fans.
