Inky dark fruit, chocolate, licorice, spice, menthol and scorched earth build as this potent, beautifully layered, super-ripe Cabernet shows off its bold, racy personality. There is plenty to like here.

From a mix of clones 7 and Rubicon, the 150-case 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Kenefick Ranch Vineyard sports a deep purple hue as well as a great bouquet of smoky black fruits, tobacco, chocolate, and gravelly earth. This rich, full-bodied beauty has building tannins, gorgeous purity of fruit, and a great finish. It's incredibly young but just loaded with potential. Hide bottles for 4-5 years and it will evolve for two decades or more.
