The 2022 Pinot Noir Durant Vineyard Bishop Block comes from Pommard clone vines planted in 1973. 50% whole cluster fermentation was employed, and the wine was matured in 25% new French oak. It has pretty aromas of raspberry, watermelon, cracked pepper and botanicals, gaining in detail and intensity as it spends time in the glass. The medium-bodied palate is bursting with concentrated, perfumed, spicy flavors, and it has a very long, layered finish. 389 cases produced.
