The 2019 Zinfandel Mancini Ranch is a boisterous, expressive Russian River wine. Ripe red/purplish fruit, kirsch, hard candy, rose petal and mint are front and center. Supple and wonderfully inviting, the 2019 will drink well right out of the gate. There is plenty of vintage 2019 raciness, but tempered by bright acids that pull everything together. The Mancini is not the most complex wine in this range, but it is so seductive. (AG)

Moving to the Zinfandels, the 2019 Zinfandel Mancini Ranch offers a beautiful perfume of pure plum and blueberry fruits intermixed with brambly herbs, spice, and candied orange zest. This beauty is full-bodied, has a seamless texture, gorgeous tannins, and one heck of a great finish. It's brilliantly done and well worth seeking out.
Deep ruby-purple in color, the 2019 Zinfandel Mancini Ranch explodes with intense raspberry jam, rhubarb, cinnamon stick, autumn leaves, blood orange and an incredible layer of floral perfume, shifting with new nuances as it sits in the glass. The palate is stunning, silky and fresh, with an incredible perfume and a unique salted licorice character that, paired with its juicy acidity and kaleidoscopic fruits, brings you back to the glass again and again. It comes from Zinfandel interplanted with other grapes in 1922 and was aged in 16% new French oak. 320 cases were made.
