I love the dusty texture and firmness to this wine. Medium to full body, a solid core of fruit and ripe tannins that remain attune and tense. Fresh finish. Needs two or three years to sort out the young phenolic structure still. Try in 2020.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Element 28 emerges from the eastern hills of Napa overlooking Lake Hennessey. The wine has a dense, opaque purple color, a beautiful blackberry and cassis nose with some underlying minerality, a touch of forest floor and crushed rock, and a medium to full-bodied, moderately tannic finish. Forget this wine for 3-4 years and drink it over the following 20 years.
