Note di degustazione
The 2018 Chardonnay B. Thieriot Vineyard offers aromas of warm apples, banana chip, sweet spices and almond. Medium-bodied, it's silky in the mouth, fresh and bright, fleshing out to spicy, nutty fruits on the long finish. Give it another year or two in bottle.

Last of the Chardonnay, the 2018 Chardonnay B. Thieriot Vineyard comes from a site way out on the Sonoma Coast, just across the street from the Summa Vineyard, in sight of the Pacific Ocean. Apple blossom, salty minerality, white flowers, lemon blossom, and ample spice notes define the bouquet, and it's a tight, racy, yet concentrated Chardonnay with stunning purity of fruit as well as length on the finish. It's up with the top Chardonnay in the vintage and is going to have 10-15 years of longevity, a rarity in the 2018 vintage, which seems to have produced more soft, forward Chardonnay.
The 2018 Chardonnay B. Thieriot Vineyard is a captivating wine that captures all of the energy this site is so well-known for, but without the austerity that is sometimes found in Thieriot Chardonnays. Citrus confit, mint, chamomile, almond and ripe orchard fruit abound. Deep in color and super-intense, the 2018 is positively stellar.
