2014 Relic Ritual

The 2014 Ritual Heritage Proprietary Red Blend is 26% Grenache, 26% Mourvèdre, 24% Syrah, 21% Carignan and 3% Petite Sirah, all from old vineyards. The wine spent 20 months in older French oak and is a seductive, high-end California Côtes du Rhône lookalike. Spicy, peppery, meaty notes with some lavender, black raspberry, strawberry and cherry are all present in this delicious, round and hedonistic wine. It’s as seductive as dry red wine can be, so drink it over the next 4-6 years.
