The 2018 The Change Up is a bold, savory wine. Bright acids and beams of tannin give the 2018 quite a bit of energy, but also suggest it needs a few years to be at its best. Sage, tobacco, menthol, licorice and blackberry all run through the 2018. Readers will have to be patient here. Change Up is not quite as opulent as most Behrens wines, but that's not a bad thing.
