2015 Seaver Cabernet Sauvignon GTS

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon from Tom Seaver's GTS is powerful and savory, with tons of mountain character to back up the potent fruit. Far from an easygoing wine, the 2015 needs time to fully flesh out in the glass. Hints of iron, smoke, cedar, sage and tobacco add striking shades of nuance. The only thing the 2015 is missing is a touch of mid-palate generosity. Hopefully that will develop in bottle.
