1994 York Creek Cabernet Sauvignon Meritage

Good deep ruby-red. Intriguing nose combines black- and redcurrant, flowers, and brown spices. Sappy, sweet and ripe in the mouth; expressive already but sound acids give the wine firm structure. Subtle, persistent, fresh back end features firm but fine tannins. Elegantly styled and substantial. Made by Cathy Corison.
