Sourced from the Ecotone Vineyard in the new Crystal Springs of Napa Valley AVA, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Mysterons is another Vice Versa wine that's 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Despite being aged 18 months in new French oak, any cedar and vanilla notes are scarcely noticeable, subsumed under faintly leafy-herbal nuances and a core of black cherries and blueberries. Full-bodied, rich and concentrated, this velvety-textured wine roars with plentiful tannins and plenty of grip on the finish.

All from the old Thorevilos Vineyard (Ecotone now), the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Mysterons is inky purple-hued with a dense, primary, yet incredibly impressive perfume of darker blue fruits, liquid violets, and crushed stones. The level of richness and depth, paired with incredible elegance, is something to behold, and it's flawlessly balanced, has a stunning mid-palate, and a great, great finish. It doesn’t get any better in the vintage, and this beauty will evolve for upwards of two decades.
