2012 Cornerstone Pinot Noir

Vivid ruby with a bright rim. Suave, oak-tinged aromas of red fruit preserves, Asian spices and cola, lifted by an intense floral overtone. Sweet and seamless on the palate, offering expansive raspberry and cherry compote flavors and a bracing jolt of white pepper. This is plenty rich but it comes off as surprisingly lithe, finishing with supple tannins, excellent thrust and an echo of candied flowers.
