2005 Ackerman Cabernet Sauvignon

The eastern Vaca Mountain foothills are the source of this limited-production (500 cases) Cabernet. The medium to full-bodied 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon is dense plum/garnet-colored, with a fresh, lively nose of plum, spice and blackcurrants. It is quite vigorous and lively, although I think it has entered its plateau of full maturity, where it should stay for another 5-8 years.
