Lemon oil, honeycomb, spice, and crushed stone are just some of the nuances in the 2019 Chardonnay Seashell, and as with all of the Chardonnays here, it’s beautifully balanced, has a terrific sense of tension and vibrancy, and a great, great finish. I’d give bottles another year and then drink over the following 4-6.

The 2019 Chardonnay Seashell explodes with notes of ripe apricots, green guava and lemon tart, plus suggestions of shaved ginger, marzipan and buttered toast. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is coated with layers of stone fruit and tropical fruit flavors, framed by racy acid and a lively backbone, finishing long and creamy.
