Brought up in 60% new oak, the 2021 Chardonnay Cuv e Susan comes from the Hyde Vineyard in Carneros, and it's a big, rich, classic Napa beauty offering subtle tropical and caramelized orange-like fruit, full-bodied richness, some spicy oak, brioche, and toasty nuances, beautiful mid-palate depth, and the balance and depth to benefit from a year or two of bottle age and drink well through 2031+.

The 2021 Chardonnay Hyde Vineyard Cuvée Susan is a gorgeous wine that captures all the personality of Hyde in a decidedly rich, textured style. Lemon peel, marzipan, white flowers, tropical fruit, passionfruit and French oak are all dialed up. This overt Chardonnay is bursting at the seams with character.
