2014 TOR Chardonnay Torchiana Beresini Vineyard Hyde Clone

A brilliant effort as well is the 2014 Chardonnay Torchiana Beresini Vineyard. This is a dry-farmed, 3-acre vineyard block that is 30 years old in 2014, which is planted with Larry Hyde’s selection of the Wente clone. This is a killer Chardonnay that is showing even better than it was last year. Crushed rock/wet gravel intermixed with orange marmalade, white peach, pineapple and honeysuckle are all present in this full-bodied, dense and concentrated Chardonnay. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this Chardonnay evolve for 6-10 years.
