Pale ruby, the 2018 Pinot Noir Julia's Vineyard has restrained Bing cherries and blueberries, dried citrus peel and spicy accents on the nose. The light-bodied palate is somewhat dilute and juicy with a gently spicy finish.

Also from the Santa Maria Valley, the 2018 Pinot Noir Julia's Vineyard offers more layers and complexity, with beautiful spiced raspberry fruits, crushed flowers, flowery incense, orange blossom, and subtle oak aromas and flavors. Polished, medium-bodied, and nicely balanced, with silky tannins, it's drinking great today, yet I suspect it will evolve for upwards of a decade, if you're so inclined.
The 2018 Pinot Noir Julia's Vineyard, from the Cambria estate, is an elegant, delicate wine. Crushed flowers, sweet red/purplish berry fruit, mint, blood orange and star anise are lifted from the glass. Medium in body and silky, with lovely persistence, the Julia's is one of the many highlights in this range.
