The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Les Pierres Qui Décident was barrel fermented and matured for 10 months in 100% new French oak. It has bright, herbal scents of blackcurrant bud, white peaches, flint and elderflower. The light-bodied palate has a gently rounded texture. It combines mouthwatering acidity with crunchy flavors and has a long, flinty finish. 98 cases were made.

The 2022 Les Pierres qui Décident is 100% Musqué clone Sauvignon Blanc, fermented in 132-gallon barrels. It’s cool-toned and mineral-driven in style; white pepper, white peach, crushed stone, jasmine, honeysuckle and linden blossom run through. A little skin contact adds texture and grip. This makes me want oysters right now.
A bright straw color with a green tinge, the 2022 Les Pierres Qui Decident is fresh and tropical with refined aromatics of 20% Semillon, and has a bit of wet stone as well as notes of beeswax, preserved lemon, white grapefruit, tropical mango, and white currants. Medium-bodied, it has a great silky texture and refreshing, clean, ripe acidity through the long finish. It has the ability to age and is going to show its best over the next 6-7 years. Both of these wines are aged in 100% new oak, but neither feels that way.
