The 2023 Sauvignon Blanc Les Pierres Qui Décident was fermented in puncheons and matured for nine months in 100% new French oak. It has layered aromas of peach, apricot, guava, tarragon and botanical undertones. The medium-bodied palate is powerful and textural. Its concentrated flavors are foiled by racy acidity, and it has a long, flavorful finish. Only 98 cases were made.

The 2023 Les Pierres Qui Decident is entirely composed of Sauvignon Blanc. The nose is forward with zesty, fresh, bright aromatics of candied lime, fresh tropical flowers, wet stones, white pepper, and white peaches. The palate is focused, pure, and crystalline, with a refreshing feel and a lasting finish. It’s a pleasure to taste now and will also hold up well over the coming 7-8 years.
The 2023 Les pierres qui décident, 100% Musqué clone Sauvignon Blanc from the Russian River Valley, is so compelling. Gooseberry, lemon and exotic citrus tones lend so much intrigue. Deeply mineral and steely, the 2023 has an explosive, unashamedly New World bouquet and such an Old World structure—a blend that truly works. You would never guess this is 100% barrel fermented and aged, as it’s so steely. Purity and clarity are the signatures of the 2023 Les pierres. Fabulous.
