2007 Gemstone Red Facets of Gemstone

The dense ruby/purple-tinged 2007 Facets (48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot) offers abundant amounts of sweet black cherry and black currant fruit intertwined with soil and underbrush undertones. It also reveals the opulence and fleshiness of this vintage. Enjoy it over the next 10-15 years. Gemstone’s original founders, Paul and Suzie Frank, have retired and sold their vineyard to Michael and Carol Marks, who are committed to continue producing fine wines.
