The 2019 Syrah Papa's Block is a joyous wine loaded with Russian River exuberance. Inky dark fruit, lavender, sage, mint and cloves are all kicked up. This is an especially forward, fruit-driven style, without a ton of Syrah savoriness, but plenty of bright acid to keep things in balance.

Lastly, the 2019 Syrah Papa's Block is similarly inky-hued and boasts a big, juicy, unevolved bouquet of blueberries, ground pepper, bacon fat, and cedary spice. As with all of Mike's 2019s, it's beautiful on the palate and has silky tannins, full-bodied richness, and a great finish. It's a big, blockbuster-styled Syrah to enjoy over the coming 7-8 years.
