Back label code LABG4. 55% Pinot Noir, 15–20% Pinot Meunier, 28–33% Chardonnay. 12% still red. Aged for three years. Dosage 10 g/l. Pale orange with a pink tinge. Good freshness on the nose and a hint of coconut. Actually, despite the relatively high dosage, this wine tastes refreshing. I wonder whether the malo (or some of it) was suppressed? A little chewy on the end but a very good package with vigour and briskness even if it may not last forever. (JR)

The latest release of Clicquot's NV Brut Rosé mingles notes of peony, red berries and orange rind with hints of dried white flowers and toasted bread. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and charming, it's supple and open-knit, with an enveloping core of fruit.
Dosage 10 g/l. Pinot Noir 44-48%, Chardonnay 25-29%, Pinot Meunier 13-18%. Minimum 30 months on lees. Creamy, milky aroma, really super red fruit – much more impressive and authentically rosé than many champagne brands. Not much autolysis but lots of juicy fruit to enjoy. (RH)
There's a sort of stemmy character on the nose, as well as some mint – this is more distinctive than their yellow label Brut. (RH)
